Harlow's Supper Club: Reviews & Ratings
It was our first time at Harlow's. While we were having our pre dinner cocktails we sat at the end of the bar where people paid once they finished dinner. Everyone raved about their meal as they came out so we had high expectations. They did not disappoint! Prime rib was amazing, ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the complimentary chocolate chip cookies at the end were the cherry on top. Staff was amazing! Our server, Nikki, had a great sense of humor and was a ton of fun. Will definitely be back!
We took a half-hour drive to Bonduel to try Harlow’s Supper Club, and it’s easy to see why it’s such a local favorite. Even though they don’t muddle their old fashioneds, they’re still very good. For the Friday fish special, we ordered a full order of deep-fried haddock and a half order of broiled haddock. Both came with a potato choice, coleslaw, and rye bread. The fish was cooked perfectly — the fried haddock had a crisp, flavorful batter while keeping the fish flaky, and the broiled haddock was tender and well-seasoned. The only miss was the twice-baked potato, which was overcooked and a bit hard. We also ordered the fried shrimp entrée and the ribeye. These meals included soup, salad, and a potato. The ribeye was on the thinner side but cooked spot-on, seasoned beautifully, and had a buttery flavor that really stood out. The clam chowder leaned more toward a cream-of-clam style than a traditional chowder, but was still tasty. The fried shrimp was classic butterflied shrimp, simple and good. After dinner, we had to enjoy a classic supper club ice cream drink. Harlow’s has a unique twist where they turn an old fashioned into an ice cream drink, and it was surprisingly delicious, a fun and flavorful take on a Wisconsin staple. To top it off, they brought out complimentary homemade toffee cookies, and they were so good, a sweet little touch that really made the experience feel special. The service is what truly sets Harlow’s apart. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, and our server, Audre, was especially great: upbeat, informative, and genuinely happy to be there. You can tell the whole team takes pride in what they do. Harlow’s Supper Club is a true hidden gem and absolutely worth the drive. We’ll be back! August 30th. 2025 this was our first time trying out this Supper Club, the staff in all were very friendly to start off, they make you feel welcomed. the drinks and Menu are reasonably priced. Must have an after dinner ice cream drink, you won't be disappointed. we will definitely be returning. Thank you Harlow. Your meals are delicious
Do not be fooled by the for sale sign out front. They ARE open for business. We came on 6-22-24, and there is a major road construction/road closed right where the main parking lot entrance is. There is a small alley between the two buildings in the front you can access or park on the street. There is a ramp in the back to access if you use something for mobility. This is a cozy "up north" supper club. Animal heads on the wall, good food, friendly staff. They don't take reservations, but we got here right at 4 pm and were seated right away. I did feel a bit rushed to place my food order, and everything came out so fast that I couldn't eat a course before the next one came out. I ended up bringing most of my chicken and ribs home because I was full from inhaling my soup and salad. My husband loved his prime rib dinner and recommends it with the baked potato vs. the twice baked potato because it was a bit overdone on the top. A vanilla ice cream cup is given after dinner.
All of the staff is very friendly. The waiter we had was fun. We were out for a birthday celebration and he brought out a cake and sang happy birthday. The food was very good. Thursday was German night. We will definitely be going back.
There aren't enough words. This is perfect WI supper club vibes if that is what youre looking for. We had to take our youngest here because his name is Harlow too. We were absolutely smitten after meeting the owner, Harlow who then chose to come take a pic with "little Harlow" and gifted him with a supper club shirt that our son is absolutely jacked about because his name is on it. We got our cocktails at the bar and placed our order with the waitress. After placing our order for dinner we opted to let the boys play at the claw machine. After a few failed attempts the bartender popped over and "fluffed the machine" - an act I have never seen done in my life and promptly led to both boys walking away with two new stuffed animals. We got the homemade chicken and wild rice soup and it was delicious, chicken in every bite. The homemade bread is to die for and was still warm when it came to the table. For dinner my husband ordered the steak gorgonzola - it was literally incredible. The sauce was thick and delicious. I had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection with delicious twice baked potato. I can't say enough about the service we received, the perfect WI supper club vibes, and the food. We will definitely be back.

Nestled in the heart of Bonduel, Wisconsin, Harlow's Supper Club embodies the classic charm and warmth of an authentic “up north” supper club. From the moment you walk in, the rustic decor—with animal heads adorning the walls—and the friendly, attentive staff create an inviting atmosphere that feels like home.
Harlow’s food strikes a fine balance between hearty tradition and polished execution. The prime rib stands out, succulent and cooked precisely, drawing unanimous praise from diners. The ribeye, though a bit on the thinner side, carries a rich buttery flavor and flawless seasoning that delights with every bite. Seafood offerings, such as the deep-fried and broiled haddock, showcase a masterful touch: the fried haddock's batter is crisp yet light, preserving the flaky tenderness beneath, while the broiled version is seasoned with care and cooked to perfection. The fried shrimp stays true to supper club roots—simple, classic, and satisfying.
Soups and sides complement each main with care. The creamy clam chowder brings a comforting richness, even if it leans more toward a cream-based style than traditional clam chowder. Potato choices generally uphold supper club standards, though occasional slight overcooking on the twice-baked potato suggests a fresh kitchen touch might be needed here. Each meal typically arrives with soup, salad, and rye bread—elements that round out the experience thoughtfully.
What truly elevates Harlow’s beyond the food is the genuine hospitality infused into every detail. Servers like Nikki and Audre bring personality and upbeat charm, enriching the meal with humor and attentive service. This connection makes celebrating birthdays and special dinners feel even more memorable, with personalized touches like cake and song adding warmth.
Equally notable is Harlow's imaginative twist on tradition—like their inventive old fashioned ice cream cocktail. This playful fusion pays homage to Wisconsin’s supper club legacy while offering a delightful surprise to the palate.
Endings are just as memorable with complimentary homemade toffee or chocolate chip cookies, a sweet flourish that leaves a lasting impression. For those seeking a cozy, authentic supper club with great food, inventive drinks, and sincere service, Harlow’s Supper Club is a hidden gem worthy of the drive.
